Long gone are the days when reading a book was limited to the lamp-lit confines of your bedroom, when the hustle and bustle of your day had finally settled down. It is now possible to squeeze in your favorite page-turner on your commute, whether you're crammed next to people with your iPod  on the subway or sitting in traffic in your car. Audio books  have changed the way we experience books. Some readers actually prefer audio to the actual print for the convenience factor. If you are a tried-and-true print version reader, audio books can still be a great investment for a long road trip or nasty daily commute. You'd be surprised how many of your favorite and bestselling books  are available in audio book format, either purchased  in-store or downloaded  online.

• "Tuesdays with Morrie " by Mitch Albom about an "old man, a young man and life's greatest lesson." It may be a tearjerker but it's a must-read (or, must-hear) despite your sentiment level. 
• "Life of Pi " by Yann Martel is a richly detailed work of fiction  that delves into the imagination of Pi, the adventurous son of a zookeeper.
• "Eat, Pray, Love " by Elizabeth Gilbert is a recent bestseller  which explores the true life story of a divorcee woman on a soul-searching journey in Italy, India and Indonesia.

• A classic novel  that's great for both adults and children  in audio book format is "To Kill A Mockingbird " by Harper Lee. "Charlotte's Web " by E.B. White is another timeless winner.
• The Harry Potter series , from "Harry Pottter and the Sorcerer's Stone"  to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"  by J.K. Rowling is available in audiobook CDs , all narrated by Jim Dale.
