All-Inclusive Honeymoons

For the last six months you have been planning your wedding, fretting about flowers decorations the cake and invitations Take a break from all those details you've been stressing over and have some fun planning the honeymoon But, wait. What about all those details? Have you had enough already? If so, you may want to consider an all-inclusive honeymoon package There are a number of reasons that make this option worthwhile for many a bride and groom -- even those who have yet to start planning their wedding.

  • You pay one flat price. There is no guessing about how much you're going to spend. Simply pay the flat-rate ahead of time, purchase the airfare, and pack your bags. Since the rate includes everything (the room, meals, drinks, entertainment, activities, taxes, and gratuities) you don't have to carry around a purse or a wallet. Simply kick back and relax.
  • It's cheaper. If you choose an all-inclusive vacation in the Caribbean, chances are that you'll save 25% on your honeymoon. However, planning such packages in Europe, Africa, or Asia may wind up costing about the same once you average in the cost of airfare.
  • You get to relax but still have fun. These packages usually include sports activities and entertainment as part of the deal making it easy to do fun things by day or night. You can scuba dive, play golf, or windsurf to your hearts content. However, culture vultures and adventure seekers beware. This type of on-site pampering could bore you. When you are paying for these services up front, you're less likely to seek out what's happening beyond the hotels borders.
  • Plenty of interaction. The people person would love this setting -- a place to meet, mingle, and have fun with others. Couples in need of seclusion though would be better opting for a honeymoon with more potential for privacy.
  • Get married while you're there. If the idea of a destination wedding is up your alley or if cost is a concern, all-inclusive honeymoon locations usually offer on-site wedding services, including a minister, flowers and decorations, champagne, and more. The catch is usually a one week minimum stay.

Types of All-Inclusives

There are two basic types of all-inclusive honeymoon packages -- hotel  or cruise  style. However, if you are not one to follow the rules, tour packages with an original twist, such as safaris, dude ranches, and sporting trips are probably more your cup of tea.
