Whether you're using polish for small projects or larger vehicles, there are certain buffing compounds to consider, depending on the surface you're trying to spruce up.
Rotary Tool Tips
If you're polishing a larger vehicle, use a larger circular polisher. However, a rotary tool is perfect for much smaller jobs because they're usually only 6 to 10 inches and they allow you to get into the nooks and crannies of whatever piece you're working on. If you're using a rotary tool with a felt tip accessory, dip the tip in the polishing compound and use the tip for crevices. Don't turn the dial too high or push down too firmly on the piece you're polishing because you'll overheat the tip and melt the compound (not good!).
