This project is as sew-free as possible, but you will need to know how to sew on buttons and make a hem.
# Sheer fabrics are easy to find at your local fabric store; be sure to measure the length of your window, double that length and add on about a foot for good measure.
# Make sure you have a nifty curtain rod.
# Then make a 3 inch double hem at the bottom, adjusting or cutting the fabric to be sure you have your desired length; set your sewing machine on the longest stitch setting and avoid tension, which could cause ugly bunching.
# It's recommended that you sew drapery weights into the corners of your hem to avoid a window drape that is too fluttery and to give it some needed shaping.
