Now billed as one of the top actors in the industry, Will Smith started off as smallfriendly rap hits in the 80s. Despite the success, Will Smith was just on the verge of bankruptcy when he got the lead in a sitcom based around himself, '''The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'''. From that point on, Smith has soared to superstardom and has become one of the most successful male actors of today.

Here are some of Smith's best known movies of his early career:
* '''Six Degrees of Seperation''': This was Smith's first starring role which he took on while still filming Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
* '''Bad Boys''': Smith got his recognition with Bad Boys, starring opposite Martin Lawrence in this action comedy. It spawned a sequel that came out in 2003.

Music Career
Beyond his first album with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Smith returned to the music scene solo in 1997 with ''Big Willie Style''. Both his debut solo album and second release, ''Willenium'', went multi-platinum. ''Born to Reign'' and ''Lost and Found'' came out in 2002 and 2005, respectively.
