Tie Tacks

Tie tacks are a dignified accessory, much like cuff links.  They are typically the size of a small button and they accent your tie, while giving you a little class and sparkle.  Tie tacks also keep your tie out of sticky situations like soup, coffee, copying machines, and paper shredders. These little charms are great for work, weddings, formal dinners, or a night out at a classy joint.

How to Wear a Tie Tack

There are two parts of a tie tack: the base and the pin.  The base has a little chain and bar attached to it. The pin is the decorative piece that rests on top of your tie and pierces the base. # Unbutton a button on your shirt and slip the metal cross piece through it. Then re-button your shirt. # Take the pin and pierce it through tht tie approximately the same place as the button. # Push the base behind the tie into the needle of the pin and you're dressed to impress!

Popular Tie Tacks

These are the most popular variations of tie tacks.  You can also wear a flag tie tack to show a little patriotism.
