Paintball is a game that originated in New Hampshire, and was developed by a few men with some money and some time on their hands. Not satisfied by the hunting and killing of defenseless animals, this group of men realized that it was man himself who was the most dangerous game. Using CO2 powered pistols previously used by farmers to mark trees and livestock, these fellows set to the woods wearing nothing but crummy clothes and sets of protective shop glasses. Over the years, the game has exploded, and thousands of leagues, tournaments and arenas can be found all over the country dedicated to the sport. With the meteoric rise in popularity, the paintball gun has evolved and many accessories have been developed to accommodate the gun’s technological progress. Airsoft guns are much like paintball guns, except they fire harder and have more realistic bullets. Additionally, they are less commonly used for team-based recreational purposes, as they're quite a bit more dangerous to fire at other human beings.
Scopes and Mounts
A lot of paintball consists of fast and frenetic play. For beginners, striking your opponents mainly relies on a fast trigger finger. However, for seasoned players and professionals, pinpoint accuracy factors in as a vital part of play. For them, scopes help them get a dead lock on the enemy split seconds before they themselves are hit. They become just the thing advanced paintballers need to gain an edge. Mounts help a player strap their gun with all the equipment necessary for a high-level game: lights, ammo, scopes, etc.
