Scooter Protective Gear Buying Guide
Sure you won't look cool riding around on your
goggles (that look like really trendy shades).
Why is This Stuff Important? It's not rocket science.
Don't bury your head in the sand. This is why you need to wear a
helmet:
* You have a 40% chance of getting mortally wounded in a crash than someone who is wearing a
helmet.
* You're also three times more likely to incur brain damage if wounded.
* Make sure to replace your
scooter accident, you can at least avoid road rash on your knees and elbows. It's not serious, but it sure is annoying.
Naturally, when you fall, you put your hands out to protect yourself, right?. No? Okay, you won't need
gloves to protect from scrapes or tears then. Read on.
You'll put your eye out, literally, if you are not wearing
goggles. Bugs, dirt and debris from the road could get into your eyes and harm them seriously or just be an annoyance. Like road rashes (see above).

motorcycle clothing and are tested for maximum safety. We don't have that system here, but we care about your safety nonetheless!
