RV Equipment Jacks

If you own an RV, you will inevitably need to use a 5000 pounds.  Don't get stuck on the side of the road without one.

How to Jack Up an RV

First things first, you should have the correct and current weight of your trailer.  Don't use a jack and jack stand that cannot handle the weight of your RV.  * Park the car on a smooth, even, and hard surface. * Set the jacks in the proper location, according to the manufacturer's manual.  These areas are the strongest parts of the RV frame. * Jack up the trailer slowly then put the jack stand under each jack you are using. * Lower the jacks so that the weight of the RV is resting on the stands, which can bear more weight. * You can keep the jacks under the jack stands in case of emergency. * To get the RV down, simply raise the jack stands, and then lower the RV.
