Telescopes are no more constrained to the field of astronomy. Today, they are used in a wide range of applications and have found a place for themselves in offices. Selecting the right telescope is not as easy as buying other office equipment. You need to do some basic research before buying one for your office.
Types of Telescopes
Telescopes can be classified in the following types
* Refractor telescopes are designed in such a way that the light passes through a series of refractor lenses to provide contrast and magnification. They are easy to use and maintain.
* Reflecting Telescopes use a single or combination of curved mirrors that reflect light to form the magnified image.
* Newtonian – These telescopes use a combination of lenses and deliver bright images.
* Schmidt Cassegrain – It is a compact instrument with a corrector plate to eliminate abnormalities and provides a wide angle view.
* Catadioptrics: It combines reflection and refraction technologies and has large apertures suitable for astronomy.
Apart for these types, there are also handheld telescopes available in the market.
