NCIS

By User:Kristenmollica @timeAndDate(1276722481) In case you haven't read my other guides on television shows, I seem to have a deepoff, NCIS: Los Angeles, debuted this past year.

What Would Gibbs Do?

Gibbs would probably slap you on the back of the head and tell you to get a coffee! But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's learn a bit about this oddball group of characters. * '''Special Agent Gibbs''' Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live). He is not in the least bit tech savvy and prefers doing things old school. He is impatient but dedicated to his work. His hobby is building boats completely by hand in his basement. How those boats get out of the basement still remains a mystery. * '''Special Agent DiNozzo''' - Tony can best be described as a chauvinistic, immature flirt with good intentions. Despite his behavior, you can't help but enjoy his banter with the other characters and his constant movie references and quotes. Although he may invade your personal space, there must be a good reason why he's a senior agent. * '''Special Agent Todd''' - Todd was originally a member of the Secret Service. I commend her for putting up with Tony and quickly learning that NCIS stands for breaking the rules. She was turning out to be a great agent until she was killed at the end of Season 2. * '''Special Agent David''' - A former Mossad officer who takes Todd's place in Season 3. Naturally she was immediately hated simply because Kate had died. However, it's hard not to find it adorable when she screws up an English expression. * '''Junior Special Agent McGee''' - Also known as 'Probie' and 'McGeek,' he knows his way around a computer. He majored in computer forensics at MIT and is hardcore geek all the way. His technical jargon often confuses and annoys the team. * '''Abby Sciuto''' Pow, a fictional drink. She is energetic, bouncy, bubbly, and has an awesome wardrobe. * '''Dr. "Ducky" Mallard''' - 10 points if you can guess where his nickname comes from. He is the Chief Medical Examiner and knows more useless facts than you'd ever want to. It's a shame no one else appreciates his random stories.

Why You Should Watch

If you're into crime shows then I'll make an educated guess that you will enjoy this one as well. However, what separates this from ''Law and Order'' and ''CSI'' is the humor and the characters. Just like any other sitcom, we become attached to these people, and we may even find bits of ourselves in their personalities. Crime shows can often be very depressing and sometimes, you can only watch so much; here, all the characters take their job and the crimes very seriously, but like real people, they can laugh and make jokes and crack a smile every once in awhile. So when other programs become too morose, turn on ''NCIS'' and enjoy the playful dialogue and head smacks.
