First of all, before you begin tossing any regular office furniture in favor of the new green kind, remember, that wouldn't be ecofurniture'>green furniture: *  If your buying something coming wood, check and see if it is certified sustainable wood furniture. This means you are supporting the sustainable harvesting of wood, which keeps our air clean and our planet green. * Look for furniture made out of reclaimed materials there is even such think as rediscovered wood certified furniture; this supports that whole reuse mantra. * You can also buy and sell used furniture on online forums so that you can really be a part of the act of recycling. Donating old, unwanted furniture can also be a more positive way of disposal than the trash. 

Other Green Office Habits

* Don't use paper cups or plates in the office if you can, encourage your office mates to bring in their own dishware.  * Decorate your office with house plants that will improve the office ambiance and the air quality.  * Consider making the office switch to reusable coffee filters for making office coffee. You'd be surprised how much coffee and coffee products the office goes through in a day. This would be a serviceable blow to waste.  * In terms of technology, energy sustainable laptops, be diligent about turning these guys off when you're not using them.
