Tools

* Puller Sets: These fix simple things like dents and pulling out small parts. * Diagnostic Tools: These will help determine the cause of the problem if you're having difficulty. * Jumper Cables: These are handy for checking any electrical, wiring or switch problems. *Fluid Evacuators: These are useful for leaks and oil problems. * Thread Repair Kits: For wire trouble and replacements use these. *Hand Pumps: To get the fluid to drain use these.

Storage

*Trays: For all the wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and pullers make sure you have a sturdy tool box. * Cabinets: Keep your boxes and supplies neat and organized. * Drawers: For all the smaller supplies try drawers. * Desk: If you run a business you're going to need this for any office related tasks.

Shop Necessities

* Dollies: These will allow you to move heavy supplies and parts around. *Creepers: These will allow you to move around and underneath the car with ease. * Car Lifts, Jacks: When you need to replace a wheel or lift up the car to see the underbelly, you're going to need lifts and jacks. * Floor and Parking Mats: Put these under the car wheels for stability and to prevent slipping. * Tool Belt: Obviously, this will carry the tools you need around your waist for easy access. * Safety Gear: This includes things like first aid kits. * Health and Sanitation Supplies: hand cleaners, dispensers, and receptacles.

Other Useful Items

* Wall Guards: Without these you might suffer some holes being bashed into the walls when car doors fly open. * Winch: If you need to rig a car and pull it in or reel it out so you can work on it. * Chocks: Stop the wheels from moving on an incline or lift.
