Speaker Specs
There are a few things you should consider before buying your coaxial speakers.
* Check your old speakers and make sure they are 6.5". Look at the mounting depth, if there isn't much room, you may need some thin mount speakers. If you have plenty of clearance, you are free to choose whichever 6.5 inch coaxial speakers you want.
* Manufacturers will play up their peak power rating in high watts like 400 and 600, but it is more important to look at the RMS rating, which is the power it can handle over long periods of time. Some cheap speakers claim to have incredible wattage, but you generally get what you paid for.
* You will find Three and four way speakers have one and two additional tweeters respectively. Extra tweeters can give your sound more depth.
