Drive Train

Motor vehicles are an essential part of our world and we sort of take them for granted. They get us to work, back home, to the grocery stores, into town, to the movies and pretty much anywhere else fun. Heck, we sometimes even indulge on going on (and regretting) road trips. Let's not get started on what other wonders they allow us because we haven't even gotten to the topic of buses, motorcycles and other automobiles. Yet, inside each of these vehicles is a complicated powerhouse of energy that allows everything to actually move. A car's replacement parts for each of these components if one of them seems to be failing the system.

The Powertrain

The components that are fundamental to making the transmission function. pistons and other movable parts.  crankshaft in a car and it uses the driveshaft to get the output to the differentials. Clutch:  This is a part only on manual vehicles. The clutch shifts the transmission of the vehicle. 

The Driveline

This is the remaining portion of the drivetrain after the transmission. Driveshaft: This part of the car transfers the torque from transmission to the differentials.  roadwheels of the car. They move the wheels at different speeds using the torque. Axle: This gear is responsible for getting the wheels to actually physically turn. On automobiles it can adjust the speed as well.
