Diving Octopuses Guide

regulators which form an important part of scuba diving sets that include the cylinder, the hose, BCD (buoyancy control device), and the SPG (submersible pressure gauge).

How It Works

* Diving octopuses adjust the air pressure from the cylinder to pressure that enables you to breathe. The regulator initiates supply of air only while inhaling and lets exhaled air into the water. * There are two stages of breaking down the pressure: the pressure is brought down to intermediate in the first stage and into exact pressure requirement in the second stage. * The regulator connects to the tank valve at one end and the mouthpiece. * A built in alternate second stage lets you help your friend in an emergency. The hose is also connected to inflate the BCD to maintain buoyancy. Air is sent to the submersible pressure gauge to keep track of air levels in the cylinder.

Specialized Diving Octopuses

* '''High performance Regulators: '''High performance regulators provide free and effortless breathing because of their intricate construction and quality. Some of the regulators employ a knob near the mouthpiece to increase and decrease airflow. * '''Nitrox/Oxygen Compatible Regulators: '''Nitrox is a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen in proportions ideal for breathing. The proportion of oxygen is high in the blend and the regulators are built with the high oxygen content in mind. * '''ANSTI Tested Regulators: '''Worry free diving into deep waters is now facilitated by ANSTI tested regulators, which are durable and can stand high pressures. * '''Antifreeze regulators prevent freezing of the system in both stages.
