No one can escape the wedding accessory blitz, not even the youngest male guests. From ring bearers to the groom's little cousin, everyone needs a certain final touch to their outfit, including vests, ties, boutonnieres and hats.
Ties
When it comes to young boys, especially toddlers, don't fear the clipuse value.
Vests, Suspenders and Belts
Vests are probably your best bet when it comes to dressing up a little boythey're easy to wear, and they can hide a wrinkled tie. Suspenders are another cute option, but not a great idea for the recently potty trained. A simple leather black belt is a welcome addition to any boy's suit; for longer use, be sure to get a slightly larger belt. In most situations, a cummerbund won't be required; that said, there are many bow tie and cummerbund sets for boys that can help you save money on what will likely be single use clothing.
Other
For all other accessories, you should always follow the bride's orders. That means using the provided boutonniere or getting a similar one on your own. Sailor hats and tiny top hats should only be worn at the bride's discretion, as part of a theme. Cuff links for young boys are largely unnecessary, as they rarely have open cuffs on their jackets or shirts. Still, cuff links with a fun, familiar design, like those with super heroes or sports logos, can make the boy feel more comfortable in a suit.
