*A Hydrometer measures the wort’s specific gravity while fermentation is taking place.
* A thermometer of good quality is required to check the temperatures which may drop to a level of sixty degrees Fahrenheit and a high of two hundred twelve degrees Fahrenheit at which point water begins to boil.
* The home beer making kit will consist of a sterilizer and a racking cane with associated tubing as well as racking bucket. This equipment will allow the fermented beer to be transferred from one location to another temporary storage before being bottled.
* For packaging you would require bottle caps, racking buckets into bottles.
