When ''Kelly Clarkson crowned it's first star, it was still under the radar, but not for long.  Fast forward to 2009 and ''American Idol'' is now (along with creator The Judges Ladies and gentlemen, please say hello to your... judges! (Yes, that is Cat Deeley's catchphrase over on ''So You Think You Can Dance,'' but seeing as how that show is hosted by Nigel Lythgoe, one of the original producers of ''AI'', it's all in the family)
