User can set limits for each alarm type and choose whether or not alarm is generated. Green LED indicates power is on. When unit has one or more alarms, red LED indicates that alarm is stored in unit. Unit's battery keeps time and date when power is off. Battery life should exceed 10 years. Alarms are stored in a nonvolatile flash memory. Memory can hold up to 400 alarms and can be cleared at any time. Alarms can be uploaded to standard Windows based PC via USB.
