Sweet Dreams — $12.00
Everyone needs a little encouragement now and then, and this pewter charm keychain packs it in a pocket-sized package. One side of the hand-stamped charm reminds you that "Dreams Come True" and the other says, "Dream Them." Made in the land of "California Dreamin'" by jeweler Tamara Hensick , who hand carves the original in wax, then produces them in small batches.
For the Birds — $60.00
A small tiny red peg was missing--and, due to whatever reason--\na small peg could not just be sent. We had to be sent a whole\nnew birdfeeder--and send the other one back. Postage, etc. was\nall handled easily by Uncommon Goods but it would seem that the\nvendor could have put a peg in a small padded envelope and mailed\nit my way---with a much less expense and inconvenience. This was\na vendor issue, not an Uncommon Goods issue. Uncommon Goods\nwas easy to work with, as always.
Back to School — $180.00
My husband is very difficult to buy for,and when I saw these glasses, I felt that these were something he would like. He definitely loved them!! The only thing that I think would have made these glasses even nicer is the embossing color of the animals is rather light in color and you have to really look hard at the glass to see the outline of the animal. But, as I said, he seemed to really love them anyway.
School Days — $62.00
Everyone's favorite grade school notebook grows up into a stylish ballpoint pen that is sure to bring a smile to people's faces and bring back memories of school, from second grade to senior year. Made in China.
Heavy Metal — $24.00
The bit is dirty and rubs off on your hands, desk and business cards. It also scratches the surface of the desk. Only one or two cards can be presented at a time because the pieces holding the cards together is way too tight. Would not recommend, not practical, and too expensive for the quality and practicality.
Blue Moon — $40.00
I purchased this moon jar as a gift. I absolutely loved the idea and couldn't wait to see it in person. Well, in person it just doesn't quite live up to my expectations. It works just fine. One of the things I was disappointed with is the fact that it only turns on in the dark. The glow is too bright to sleep with. I thought it would be nice at a desk to provide an extra amount of light and glow, but it only works in the dark. The recipients eat outside a lot in the summer, so I'm thinking...
Memoirs of a Geisha — $20.00
Designed by Joe Wayno, who while living in Japan was inspired by how Japanese youth mix and match traditional kimono material with their fashion. It turns out that there is a surplus of kimono fabric in Japan. After WWII, kimono wearers became a minority in Japan, but the fabric was still produced. Joe purchased excess bolts of overstocked kimono fabric from the 70s and 80s and has been designing his own line of traditional-meets-modern accessories ever since. Handmade in Japan.

Peace of Mind — $50.00
This personal alarm is small enough to fit on your key ring and in the palm of your hand. The panic alarm is loud enough to generate some attention. I haven't used it yet as a door alarm or smoke alarm, but it's well made and it was exactly what I was looking for. I'm buying a second one for my Mom, who walks 3 blocks in the dark every morning from her parking garage to her office downtown. Uncommon Goods also has it for the lowest price I was able to find anywhere.

Listen To Your Heart — $50.00
I bought this product after reading my friend's review from his blog at [@]. He's a techie and not one to cuddle up with. So when he raved about how wonderful this pillow was and how he freaked out when he thought it stopped working, I had to check it out.I originally bought it for my 2 year old who has yet to sleep through the night. The heart vibrations scared her, but my husband tried it out and has since stolen it. He's an insomniac period. He takes prescription medication to sleep 3 days...

My parents have a few different vacation homes. One of which is a charming little beach cabin they have decorated in sail boats. They even decorated the deck in retired fish nets. The place is beautiful, but I felt it was lacking that special touch in the tiny bathroom. I bought the sail boat handle to suprise them with on my last trip up. They were amazed! From The Vine — $40.00
These looked really pretty online and in person they are certainly unique and def handmade. I bought to give them as a gift and although they aren't nearly as high end as I would like (esp given the price) I'm still debating on giving them anyway.
And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon — $21.00
This may seem like an odd Mother's Day gift, but that's what I gave this as. My mother has everything in the world or can buy what she doesn't, so I had to give something unique. This fit the bill. Surf and Turf — $100.00
The artist was at a recent art show in Austin, TX. I bought the fish for a friend of mine; he's planning on using it as a change holder. We didn't want to carry it around all day, so we dropped it off at another friend's booth, and suggested she use it as a tip jar. We ended up back at the artist's booth to buy more stuff and our other friend showed up to buy her own fish. Turns out people loved the fish as a tip jar and were more inclined to tip. We also ran into another couple at the show who had...

Say Please — $25.00
I just purchased and gifted (in the same week) the BLUNDERS etiquette game to my niece (age 7) and nephew (age 11) - and am VERY PLEASED with the outcome! The children were on vacation in Orlando and "Disneyed-out" so we spent 1.5 hours playing indoors at their time-share condo and had great fun together! Two adults and two children played. For "Charades" cards, we actually stood up and role-played the right way to answer a door, introduce a friend to our dad, answer the phone politely w/o revealing...

Button Up — $45.00
Bought this as a gift for my brother's girlfriend. Looks so pretty and interesting in the picture, but I was disappointed when I saw it in person. The button is pretty and definitely an eye-catching piece of jewlery, but the chain was very cheap looking. If I saw this in the store, I honestly wouldn't spend more than $15 versus the [$] price tag. I understand that the value is in the button, but it looked like a little girl's piece of jewlery. I ended up going out and buying a new chain for it and...
