The biggest problem was that the black enamel flakes off if you spend much time wearing it and exposes the steel underneath. Not horrible looking, but eventually you can't rotate to a non-chipped spot and need to just spend an evening either carefully applying new enamel or chipping all of the black off with a needle and a little hammer...
