Rating: 1/5Horrible experience. My order was placed several weeks ago, as a Christmas gift, and still has not shipped. Ulta has failed to respond to either my phone calls (I never got through after being on hold for 20 minutes, but I left a message) or emails. I don't know if the items are out of stock or they just have very slow order fulfillment. I will never shop at Ulta again. This is the kind of experience you'd expect when buying from shady, unknown websites ... not large clicks-and-mortar retailers. UPDATE: I was finally able to talk to a live person today (after a 30 minute wait), who informed me that my order was canceled because it was out of stock. I asked why I wasn't notified. The response, "I don't know." I asked why my order still shows a status of "processing." Response, "That's what it shows when it's canceled." What??? And, why do they accept orders for product that is out of stock? Response, you guessed it, "I don't know."

Rating: 1/5Ulta has the WORST customer service of any store I have ever been to. Their workers are (in general) snotty and RUDE. I will never give them my service again.

Rating: 4/5Delivery speed is incredible to the West Coast. Their warehouse must be out here; all of my orders have arrived incredibly fast. If I want great samples I order from Sephora, if I want my stuff right away I order from Ulta. If I lived out East I'd probably order from Sephora. Anyway, great service. Accurate orders. Overall very satisfied. I only wish there was a way to enter my customer number so I'd get credit for my spending. ULTA.com also has brands the local ULTA doesn't supply. The search engine is horrible, you have to browse for everything, otherwise I'd give this five stars instead of four.

Rating: 1/5I have been VERY unhappy with the customer service at ULTA.com. They promised me a FREE gift with my purchase and it never arrived. My purchase came with a big black line through the item summary that included the free gift. When I finally e-mailed them with my question as to where the gift was they said "they were out" and "they would not be sending my gift". Classy, right? I politely let them know that I was not happy with the way they had handled the situation. The response that I got was that the free gift offer had been a mistake or "system glitch". Now, I would have totally understood that if they had mentioned it prior to shipping my order or even with the order but it took several e-mails to get the correct info! If you are looking for a website that is respectful and kind to its customers then this is NOT the site for you! Try Sephora.
