I purchased X & Y by Coldplay from Best Buy. It advertised a "free song" from Coldplay as an exclusive. I downloaded the client. To continue with the installation I was forced to provide a credit card and I was told if I didn't cancel it, I would be charged for a monthly service (which I did not want). I entered the provided promo code only to find that the song did not exist on Napster. I contacted customer support and they provided me with another promo code to get the "free" song. I then tried to cancel my account but each of the 4 times I tried I got a mysterious "500" error. So overall I was extremely unimpressed with what is probably a comedy of errors but came across as a bait and switch to get me to pay for a monthly service I did not want.
