Rating: 1/5This is the WORST online shopping I've ever done. I paid for People magazine subscription in July and has not received anything since then. When I first emailed them in September, I did receive an email back telling me it may take another 10 weeks. Well, it's been over 20 weeks and I still have not received anything and all subsequent email requests for a refund was ignored. AVOID this scam magazine store!!!!!!

Rating: 5/5I am very pleased with my experience at MagsForLess. I had been warned about ordering magazines online, but this website was wonderful. The website was easy to navigate, and the first issue of the magazine I ordered as a surprise for my fiancee arrived promptly. When I had a question about the credit card I used, the customer service representative was delightful. I really am very pleased.

Rating: 1/5I got LUCKY!!!! I placed an order for one magazine last week. I paid using PayPal because the credit card prompts on their website weren't working. Once I paid for the order, I immediately got a message that there was a problem with my order, I needed to contact the "support team." I'm convinced there isn't such a thing. Since MagsForLess now had my money but not my order, I started emailing them, but got no response. I took another route and contacted PayPal. They told me how to file a complaint/dispute and I had my money back within hours. As well as a response from MagsForLess saying "I apologize for the errors you are encountering. I have forwarded this issue to our web team." PayPal was AWESOME and quick!!! BUYER BEWARE OF MAGSFORLESS.COM!!!!!!

Rating: 1/5Don't use this company. Their prices seem absolutely fine, but there is a catch: they don't deliver. The arrival times for the magazines are so long (5 to 10 weeks for monthly subscriptions), that once you start reminding them for missing delivery, the time in which you can dispute your credit card transaction has been exceeded. Result: no magazine and no way to get your money back. Try the customer service by e-mail or via their web-site: absolutely no response. Phone-number: none on their website - on the credit card (and via BBB) you can find it, but all you get is a full voice mailbox! Voila: nothing you can do except wave goodbye to your money. If you intend buying, please read their reviews in BBB and see for yourself - unfortunately I didn't, but this experience makes me do that next time before buying cheap stuff on the net!

Rating: 1/5I placed 3 magazine subscriptions with MagsForLess.com on 9/11/06. To date I have received none. I attempted the email route. Received no response. I then found these reviews and am writing to warn others as well. I have placed a complaint with the BBB. I encourage others to do so too. I will also dispute on my credit card.

Rating: 1/5I ordered a two year renewal of my New Yorker subscription. My AMEX account was charged on 9/26/06. Today is 1/28/07. I haven't received New Yorker since my legit subscription expired in October. Emails to the MagsForLess customer service department have been unanswered. AMEX "forced" a dispute today after much negotiation because the transaction is over 60 days old, but will not issue a chargeback. The AMEX Merchant Services department will not accept a complaint about the company and told me I had a year to file a dispute with AMEX customer Service. There's another issue for you.

Rating: 1/5I have been trying to receive a credit on my card since June. I have been promised more than three times by "Meagan" of customer service, that a refund was coming. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau regarding this company and their practices. I would never, never use this company again! They should be put out of business.

Rating: 1/5I ordered Cooking Light last winter and all went fine. Then I ordered four more magazines in August and , although my credit card was charged, the magazines have never arrived. This is a total scam and I wish I had reviewed epinions before wasting my money, I intend to report them for mail fraud.

Rating: 1/5I am out $86.99. On June 27, 2006 I ordered a subscription for People, per their order confirmation I should have received in in 4-6 weeks. Seven weeks later nothing, so I emailed them through their site. They responded with an apology, saying the Publisher had issues with the formatting and they resubmitted the order and put a "rush" on it, but I should wait another 4-10 weeks for delivery. I believed them, but got fed up because after 9 more weeks/ nothing. I attempted to email them again through their site and have never received a response yet. I called the 888 number from my credit card it was purchased on and it went to a mailbox that was "full" - like that would ever happen at a legitimate company. Beware all - I had used them a few years ago without a problem like this. I can not even get my money back because the credit card company can only dispute charges less than 60 days old (lesson learned).

Rating: 1/5They absolutely stink (I'd use stronger language but not sure if that is allowable.) I ordered People mag for $94.99 from them on 7/19/06 and on 7/21/06, they charged my credit card. My, aren't they efficient in their billing. I was told on the site that my magazine would start to be delivered in approx 8 weeks. At 10 weeks, I contacted them via their website (TWICE) and after the second note, got the response that mags could take up to 20 weeks to be delivered. I responded that this was an UNACCEPTABLE timeframe and NOT what was promised to me, especially considering my credit card had been billed almost immediately. It has now been 14 weeks and I have heard nothing further, so I'm contesting this with my credit card company. Hope I can get my money back. It's so interesting that reviews on here seem to be on polar opposite ends - either they state that MagsforLess is a ripoff or they are rave reviews... Wanna make a guess that the "raves" are planted reviews?

Rating: 1/5BEWARE: I was cheated by Magsforless! They took my money and a year later I have never gotten anything, not even a response to my many emails. You can choose to ignore my warning if you wish, but don't say you were not warned by someone before throwing your money away. Do yourself a favor and just flush that money down your toilet right now. Sure you'll still lose your money that way, but it'll save you the frustration of being 100% ignored by Magsforless horrible customer service. Actually, to call it customer service is a falsehood, since that implies a product was exchanged for my money. Better yet, Give that money to charity rather than the toilet (AKA: Magsforless). At least you'll feel better afterwards! Scott

Rating: 1/5I ordered magazines through magsforless because i thought it was a great deal. But as it turns out, it really wasn't because I never received my magazines. I ordered them in August, and it is now January. They were all supposed to be here no later than November, but as you can see. . . they're a bit late. So I do not advise anyone to order from them.

Rating: 1/5As many others before me said - MagsForLess is a SCAM as is the my1mags they use after you buy from them. I ordered almost $100 worth of magazines for my boyfriend and I and neither of us received ANYTHING. I wish I would have searched harder and found what other people went through before I bought from this horrible company who takes your money and then never produces any follow-thru! Customer service is terrible as well - NO RESPONSE to my emails or phone calls. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I never EVER review anything but I decided that anyone looking for info about this company deserves to know that ANOTHER PERSON has been cheated. My overall satisfaction - negative! Run like hell from MagsForLess!

Rating: 1/5Ordered magazine on 08/25/06. They took my money on 08/29/06. Never received one issue of the magazine. Very difficult to contact. Received a couple emails early on from Andrew Melville, VP of Customer Service ensuring that my concerns were fully addressed. From the information from and other review from 06/2006 on this site, I have filed reports with bbb.org, ftc.gov and fraud.org. I am still trying to get my money refunded! Maybe if everyone files these complaints we can get them put out of business for ripping everyone off! Should have known it was too good of a deal to be true!

Deceptive and fraudulent marketing tactics! They state that subscriptions will begin in 10 weeks or less. I am passing 12 weeks and the one and only boilerplate email response that I've received says that I should wait another 4 or 5 weeks. They have tied up my money and have not provided a product. Oh, it's not THEIR fault, it's all about the publishers! Right...!!! Monday morning I will dispute the charge and that will be that. BEWARE OF MAGSFORLESS.COM
