Slow to send me my order confirmation. Many days after this, I was phoned and informed that I was misquoted, the shipping would cost me $5 more than originally quoted, and would have to be shipped another method. I received it many weeks later, shipped in a different way that I had been told it would be, and according to the packing labels on the box, they charged me more for shipping than it cost them. The package was sent in a box that was much too large in one dimension (and bloating my shipping cost) and a bit too small in the other dimension. The packing job was sloppy and poorly done, the tape barely held the box from bursting. The packaging from one of the items was all cracked due to the bad packing job, and a CPU shim I had purchased was dumped loose in a box to contend with the other items I had purchased. It arrived a bit bent and is NOT safe to use a CPU. A little bit of work and it is ok now, but I'm not happy. These guys do not know how to pack or ship, especially not internationally. Avoid buying anything fragile from them. |

I ordered the 'One Touch Multimedia Selection Switch' so I could switch back and fourth between my headphones and speakers.
The Good: My order was deliver after only 3 days. The Bad: The switch is complete garbage. The input cord is half as thick as my the one for my ALTEC speaker setup and my Sennheiser Headphones. You have to jack the volume up to hear anything. And the headphone jack is totally screwed up.
The Ugly: No return instructions on the invoice slip. No online return processing, can't print out a return slip or email for an RMA. Must call 1-800 number and play Simonsays. And for a $10 dollar item I had to $4.55 to ship it here and have to ship it back for at least as much.
And they will not reimburse your shipping charges.
So I have to spend $9 in shipping to get a $1 dollar refund. No thanks. In the garbage it goes. Lesson learned.
PS their replacement PC Power cords are cheap junk too. |

They Failed to send all products, yet my Credit Card has been charged for all products. After placing a call just after receiving the product (7-15) they appolagized and said the remaining item would be shipped immediately. The next day I sent an email, again I got an apollogy this time, an actual order number was generated (7-16). However item has yet to ship, is is listed for UPS Ground, order was placed with FedEx Express Saver. Final Product Arrived on the 7-22 a full week after I should have received everything. |

The item (matrox triplehead2go) took forever to get here as the cyberguys have no central warehouse/shipping location and it had to cross the entire country (on ground -- my choice) but it arived right on time with excellent tracking etc. Highly recommended! |

One observation: They share inventory with Xtreme Geeks, so catalog number input into Cyberguys's (That's correct English) Search box should access Xtreme Geeks's inventory, and I should be able to order that via Cyberguys.
BTW, I give excellent ratings sparingly. In order for a rating system to work optimally, one should rate rigorously. |

Their prices aren't the best, but are fair, and their products make up for it. If you're buying big, easy to find items look around before ordering from them, but if it's hard to find, save time and go right to them. |

have good volume discouts,special deals and they
even throw-in surprise gifts w/orders. I do use the catalog but find that ordering online is the
easiest,fastest way to place orders. I have been
shipping UPS Grnd and all the pkgs have come intack and if there are back orders they are good
at notifying you and including this info on the
packing list. I have never had a major problem with this co. during the last 2 years. |

These guys are great. I have been ordering from them for several years and theyhave never let me down on quality, price or delivery. Granted, their prices on some stuff is high (like video cards), but I order alot of fans, connectors,cables, etc. and on these their prices are great. Especially because they don't gouge on shipping.
Sure I could order from some other e-retailor that is well known and get a better item price on a cable, but then they charge me 5 or 6 bucks an item for shipping.
Cyberguys are different. Take my last order. I paid a buck or two more on a couple of cables, but on an order with 14 items, total ground ship from CA to WI, was less than 8 bucks. And so you don't get ther wrong idea, all the other items were with in 5 or 10 cents of the best prices I found any where else. |

I called a 3rd time, pushed "0" and got the mystery woman. She turned out to be a very young sounding woman who told me it would take several days to researc, even though I paid for 2-day Fedex. And besides, they were in the middle of inverntory and my one item was not at the top of their list. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Shipping was much more expensive than comparable retailers such as NewEgg, ZipZoomFly, and Amazon. However, Cyberguys.com carried computer parts/accesories that I couldn't find elsewhere. Merchandise arrived 1 day earlier than estimated by FedEx.

This was my second order with CyberGuys. Everything went well. They are a decent store, although shipping is expensive. They have a nice catalog and a good selection of computer parts. One thing to note is that the products generally don't come with nice packaging or instructions. They are targeting the do-it-yourselfer that can figure things out on their own. CyberGuys is similar to RadioShack in many ways. |
