| Old Miniature Bisque Doll, Handpainted Face - These old bisque dolls were often used as children played with their dollhouses. It has a handpainted face and measures 3" with immobile arms and legs. The carving marks that resulted from its being carved out of a slab of bisque before being formed are still evident. There is one rough spot on the doll's right hand which may be a small chip, but it is hard to tell, even under an 8x loupe. The doll is unmarked. |
