Our rear flares are approximately the same size and shape as the stock TJ flare and can be welded to a "crusher corner" or heavy guage sheet stock trimmed and drilled to fit the original flare mounting location. The standard width is 8" (they can be trimmed for less coverage) and they will allow at least an extra 2 inches or so of tire clearance over the stock flares. 1.75" Single tube mounting plate, Bolt on — $4.50
This 1.75" hole plate can be used however you see fit, we see them being used primarily as rocker and cage joining attachment plates. When mounting a cage securely through the floor use 2 (1 for either side) and place the tube at least 2/3 of the way through, weld both inside and out, this adds a great amount of shear strength as in a major side impact. Comp Cut Rear Flares — $85.00
Our Comp cut rear flares really don't need much description as they are pretty straight forward in their application. If you've cut the back of your fenders to accommodate larger tires, axle set-back or just want the competition look and still want to drive it on the street, then you'll want these. While they may or may not satisfy the laws in your area they certainly offer enough protection to make them worthwhile. You'll want to weld them to at least 1/8" corner steel for best results.
