It definitely works well, even on cold, dry days. It's not sticky and it smells good. But it IS greasy. How could it not be? One of the top ingredients is rice bran oil. On days where I have to use it frequently, it tends to leave some residue on my phone, steering wheel, etc. Can't mark it down too much for that, because I have very dry hands and this makes them better, and there aren't many products that do that reliably, but I can't consider this an everyday, every situation product.

But it doesn't irritate the skin, as all the acids do is soften the whiskers and hairs so they shave off easier. It is super-moisturizing, so much so that it's almost tempting to forgo an aftershave, but madness lies down that path. And they're not kidding about rinsing easily from the blade! Just a single pass under the tap and you're blade is ready...
