Porro prisms resemble standard R.A. prisms, but have rounded corners, beveled tops, and sometimes a hypotenuse groove. This straight-through viewing angle porro prism is designed to use 1.25” eyepieces in catadioptric scopes with a 1.25" visual back or in refractors with a 1.25" focuser drawtube. It is not usable with reflectors. It increases the magnification by approximately 13%. A brass thumbscrew holds eyepieces firmly in place. It is fully coated for high light transmission.
