Light filters beautifully through the porcelain shade of our new Mission-style lamp. Using a technique called lithopane, first developed in 1827, an artist carves the design in wax, which then serves as the porcelain mold. Details are finished by hand, and the piece is fired in a kiln for a translucent glow. Base has an antiqued brass finish. UL approved. 60-watt bulb maximum, included. Cast metal base measures 19"H x 5½" diameter; shade is 10" square and 6½"H. USA.
