October 10, 2000: Imagine a baby game book that's easy to read, easy to carry and stays open on my lap while I'm playing with my baby. Hmmm. What took so long for this? I wish I'd had this for my first baby. I loved the games, I think the inside illustrations are super, and I really love the portable factor. It's a very durable book, too. And there's a clever index system when the cover is folded back that also makes this book remarkably easy to navigate. Great work!

Players wave their Wii Remote and Nunchuk to the beat of a variety of licensed and original songs as Konami's popular and kid-friendly music game makes its way to North America after more than a decade of Japanese exclusivity. Pop'n Music lets Gamers play with custom avatars, uploaded Miis, or 14 different pre-made characters, and the action takes place in six different stages. Adjustable difficulty levels are designed to make the game enjoyable to newcomers as well as veterans familiar with the series' sometimes brutal difficulty, and players with a Wi-Fi connection can download additional post-release song content. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

I am a music educator, and bought this book as a gift for a friend who is still in college to get her music ed degree. The games are cute and fun, but it would not be wise to use them for entire lessons, as not all of them are very musical. But, they are a lot of fun and a great way to reward students for a good day in class or just to get them excited about music. My favorite thing about this book is that it tells you how long each activity will take so that you can plan appropriately.
