Keemun Mao Feng Black Tea
Strange to relate, Qimen, the county in Anhui Province where this miracle of vegetation is found, almost failed to become the home of Keemun. The area produced only green tea up until 1875. Having been dismissed in disgrace from his post as a junior mandarin in Fujian and not daring to face his father, a young man named She Ganchen came home only after learning how to produce the black congou Fujian exported to England. He persuaded his father that congou could be profitably made in Qimen, little... |

Lion Mountain Keemun by the Pound
Keemun teas are grown in an area with dense forests and many mountain springs, on hills that form the northern tip of the Huang Shan mountain range. Lion Mountain Keemun is a rigorously graded tea, with only the smallest orange pekoe grade leaves selected for this type. The result is a highly uniform leaf, deep green to almost black, with little visible tip. The tea has a complex aroma, containing perfume-like orchid and smoky incense notes, while the cup is rich and concentrated with sweet, flinty... |

Buy Keemun Black Tea Online
As one of the key ingredients in the famous English Breakfast tea, Keemun black tea is justifiably considered one of the finest black teas in the world. It's strong aroma and taste hints at both flowers and fruit, but is well balanced and always leaves you wanting more. When you look at TeaVivre's Keemun you will see thin, twisted buds that have been carefully hand-rolled to avoid breakage but allow the buds to fully oxidise during processing. A perfect breakfast tea, Keemun is the key ingredient... |

Keemun 3 Monkey 1/4 lb
Of all the Chinese black teas the ones most familiar to the West are commonly called ‘congou teas.’ The two principal divisions are north China congou and south China congou. The north China congous - from the provinces of Kiangsu, Anhui and Hunan were all typical English breakfast style teas. The most famous of these congous are the keemuns. The 3 Monkey Keemun though not the best keemun produced (the best keemun is grade Hoa Ya A) is noted for its excellent value and deep rich flavor. The aroma... |

Keemun Black Tea 1 lb
We recommend using purple clay or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and water temperature for subsequent brewing. If you like milk with your tea, add 10 to 15 ml of sweetened/plain dairy milk and stir. |

Keemun Panda - 25 teabags pouch
The name Keemun comes from Qimen county in southern Anhui province, where almost all the mountains are covered with tea bushes. Qimen county produced only green tea until the mid 1870?s. Around that time a young man in the civil service lost his job. Despite being totally heartbroken and completely embarrassed by his shame, he remembered what his father told him - ?A skill is a better guarantor of a living than precarious officialdom?. Following this advice, the young man packed up his courage and... |
