If you apply it to dry hair it leaves a residue. This product only works well as it dries on wet hair and I sometimes need to de-tangle my daughter's hair in the morning without washing again. Also, it really smells bad. For a brand like this, you would think they could add some kind of fragrance--or make it completely unscented...
