Cress ORGANIC Seed for Sprouts
This was my first attempt to grow sprouts whose seeds formed a jelly when water was added to them. I grew the Cress sprouts in my GEO terra cotta sprouter. To my surprise, these seeds were very easy to grow. Instead of soaking them for 5-10 minutes as instructed, I first placed the dry seeds in one of the terra cotta tiers then liberally sprayed them with water frequently until a jell formed which was about 5 times at 10 minute intervals. They took about 5-6 days to sprout and grew abundantly... |

Arugula and Cress Organic Sprouting Seeds Mixture 1 pound (price includes shipping)
Arugula and Cress are gelatinous seeds. That means that a gel like sac forms around the seed when it gets wet. Just like flax and psyllium. These seeds do not need to be pre-soaked before they are sprouted. Because, the pre-soaking will just make a gooey thing of seeds in your jar or bowl of water. |
