Buescher 9 Bb trumpet
These horns are extremely fun to play, but the trick is finding a mouthpiece that works with the vintage receiver, as modern shanks are too large/long. I filed down a Bach 3c considerably and that did the trick for me. What I'd recommend is to contact Trent Austin, who custom makes a mouthpiece blank specifically designed for these horns. If I didn't need to sell this, I would have him make one for me.

The sound is brilliant and somewhat transparent, still bigger than a piccolo for sure, but different than most Bb trumpets of today. The horn was made in Elkhart Indiana. On the long tubing running up to the bell there is another group of numbers which read 2889 with the wording Exchanged For New Buescher (Elkhart Ind.)
