Besson Brevete Kanstul
Besson Brevete Bb trumpet made by Kanstul. Plays evenly and the intonation is better than my Strad. It has quite a bit of "zing" in the upper register when playing that sort of stuff. Original case, Besson 5c mouthpiece included (rim of mouthpiece has some deep scratches on it).The valves and slides work very well but I never gave it a chemical bath or anything. The outside looks shiny with minimal wear and is a 7-8 out of 10 condition in my opinion. Not brand new, but in good shape.

Vintage Besson 10-10 Brevete Pro Cornet Circa 1950
Condition is mechanically perfect, cosmetically 'with character'. Lots of character... The most unfortunate cosmetic setback this horn has had, was a fairly prolific bell crumple and roll out around the flair. The funny thing is, the bell still makes a nice 'dinggggg' when you flick it, and the horn sounds heavenly, so it's only cosmetic in nature. If you've seen films of how trumpet bells are formed, you'll understand that bells start out crumpled anyways, and are fairly violently beat into shape...
