Cons: The accessory card is overpriced. I value the audio amp around $20 and the NIC again around $20. This combo is $80 more than without the Thunderbolt. Albeit the board itself is UNDERPRICED! So I really don't care. Amp is good, no issues or whatsoever with that. The NIC is useful, IF you are the type who let's their system do whatever the eff it wants online at all times, loading up countless hoards of IM chats and generally useless garbage that clutters up your network and causes you to experience...

Time will tell if this board continues to operate well (installation problems non withstanding) and if ASUS can fix the remaining issues with BIOS and software. I'm sure I'll end up reloading this system in a year or so and if my experience then is better and the board has held up well, maybe I'll consider another ASUS purchase.

Cons: Read the specs very carefully. Although the packaging and adverts call this a USB 3.0 motherboard, you should be aware that ALL the internal headers are USB 2.0. There are NO USB 3.0 headers at all on the board. There are just 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back. This was a deal breaker for me, and cost me some money to return and buy another board to replace it that had internal USB 3.0 headers. Same thing with eSata, only one eSata port on the back, no eSata internally.
