This Carl Zeiss Dual Binocular Neurological Surgical Microscope is in excellent condition, as pictured. It includes the pictured OPMI-MD 20 T* microscope head, the Super Lux 40 high intensity Fiber Optic illuminator, less interconnect cable, NC-1 stand, hand and foot controls. The NC-1 stand employs user actuated electro-magnetic clutches to hold the unit firmly in place during operation. The unit is securely crated for safe delivery worldwide.

From my experience Zeiss and Leica have both been good, also I believe Nikon makes some good ones though I've really only had experience with their lenses and filters. I know I did some oil-immersions with them, but I can't recall if it went up to 1500x
