This was a plain black kimono before Eleanor, our summer 2010 intern took brush to fabric to create zebra stripes galore! Yes, it's all hand painted and one of the first in our "Art By Eleanor" Collection. The paint is heavily applied so the kimono has a stiff finish, but the effect is oh-so-worth it!
