Works great for light yard work. I love the adjustable handles and the unit works well as an edger. My only negative comment is that it is hard to get the spool cap off when you run out of line. The cap threads on very tightly and with the addition of grit and grime from use is almost impossible to remove. Despite Toro's claims, you must use tools.

This is my 3rd season with this trimmer and it has been the best trimmer I've ever owned. I have an average size yard and I get about 3-4 trims per charge. I gave away my 2 gas powered trimmers and now don't have to worry about gas, spark plugs and the occasional tune up. I just clean the trimmer after each use, feed it line and attach the charger when the battery is very low. I try to run the battery down as low as possible to insure a good charge which will extend the battery life as well.
