I found out today how great the tear-free design on these ties really is! I forgot to unsnap a horse and as we were slowly backing out of the trailer, the tie slowly gave way-it was the "snap" that occurs when the halter breaks! The horse didn't spook and he walked back on the trailer like nothing happened. From now on I will only use the ties (and of course remember to always unsnap the horse)
