When mounting to factory installed crossbars, it is imperative that the crossbars themselves are strong and intact. Most factory crossbars are not adequate to carry bikes because of the amount of torque put on the crossbars with a tall, heavy load is mouned to the roof. If you are unsure, please call the shop for advice.

ORS Crew answers - Unfortunately you cannot upgrade to longer bars with the 532 Ride-On. Also the mounting adapters are not rated to handle the weight of the load you want to carry. Instead, you would want to install an aftermarket roof rack system (most likely attaching to factory side rails on your vehicle).
