Z Division was formed in July of 1945 to work on the assembly of a nuclear stockpile from existing components and to improve, test, and produce the ordnance for new models of atomic bombs, however in 1947, the remains of the Roswell craft were sent to Z-Division for study and later attempts to reverse engineer the technology.

We start at the west end of Enola yard on the former ìIron Bridgeî, then move on to Rockville Bridge, where the main line from Philadelphia joins the Middle Division. We follow the line west to Altoona, with lots of big time NS action, intermodals, manifests, coal trains and Amtrak. Lots of SD70M-2's and dash 9's, and some power still in Conrail paint.
