Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage
Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage

We grew cabbage for the first time this past spring (2011). I picked this variety out of the others Baker Creek offers and successfully grew cabbage. All of the cabbage I planted of this variety grew heads (another variety we planted from purchased slips did not enjoy this success). The heads are small-ish and pointed. We thought they tasted good and used them in slaw and as steamed cabbage.
