You will notice that there are two issues that people are having with this hub. 1) Reliability, and 2) Trouble when they plug hard drives into it. If anyone has success plugging an external hard drive into this hub, they are only lucky. Probably won't last -- I still recommend taking one of the other doodads out of one of the computer USB sockets, and plug the external drive directly into the computer.
