Comments: I have used the Silva Type 15 for around 30 years and had real good success with that model. I have used this model(515) since I could no longer find the Type 15 and have been very disappointed with this newer model. The last two developed bubbles in the liquid. I also do not like the split mirror as well as the line down the mirror. I am about to order my first non-Silva compass in over 35 years.
