This tooth is cast in sterling silver from an actual fossilized shark’s tooth using the lost-wax process. I’ve soldered on a sterling jump ring, tumbled the tooth to get a shiny finish, and lightly oxidized the “gum” part of the tooth, leaving the actual tooth bright silver. I’ve added a delicate vintage oxidized silver chain. The result is a necklace that is both elegant and edgy, as well as fun to wear.
