I guess it might work in other situations but I was on a 20 path ride with 9 Boy Scouts and must have run over something I never found I heard it start to hiss and stopped immediately. A 2mm gash in the center of the tire tread was spraying and I mean spraying green gook. Perhaps I didn't wait long enough? I ended up just replacing the tube with a spare on the path...

Work v well. But valve can get clogged unless you take care to have it at the 4o'clock or 8 o'clock position when inflating/deflating the tyre. My valve jammed... but can be fixed since its a removable core. Took it off and cleaned it. All works fine again now
