Under Mexican law, Reposado ("reposed") tequila has to age in wood barrels for a minimum of two months. Most of the time we are able to achieve a six month ageing for Corralejo Reposado. No doubt one of the reasons we win the prestigous competitions.

Hacienda Corralejo was founded in 1755 and was the first commercial producer of tequila in Mexico, with copper pot stills from Spain, wood-fired adobe brickovens, and French oak barrels for aging. Today, over 200 years later, production continues at Corralejo much as it did in the past. Corralejo Reposado Tequila won the Grand Award in 1997.

Don Diego do Santa is probably one of the most overlooked and undervalued tequila brands on the market.
